A reviewed power and control architecture with explicit loads, protection, and fault states.

A serviceable harness and enclosure design with controlled drawings and interfaces.

Embedded firmware for actuator control, sensing, safety monitoring, and diagnostics.

Repeatable bring-up, end-of-line, and field diagnostic procedures.
What you will own
- Design power distribution, charging interfaces, motor control, compute, IO, and communications.
- Own schematics, harnesses, connectors, PCB work where needed, and electrical documentation.
- Develop embedded firmware, device drivers, state machines, boot behavior, and diagnostics.
- Implement emergency-stop, interlock, watchdog, and fault-reporting behavior with systems engineering.
- Validate EMC resilience, thermal behavior, ingress strategy, vibration, and power margins.
- Support builds and field failures through disciplined root-cause analysis.
What we are looking for
- Has shipped electrical and embedded systems on moving hardware.
- Can design a power architecture, board or harness, firmware, and diagnostic path as one system.
- Understands noise, grounding, protection, thermal limits, connectors, and field failure modes.
- Writes maintainable embedded code with explicit states and fault behavior.
- Uses instrumentation and logs to isolate intermittent hardware problems.
The field reality
The environment is part of the design.
A loose connector, weak power rail, water path, or opaque firmware fault can stop an entire field day. The electrical system must be diagnosable by a technician, safe around people, and tolerant of vibration, dirt, charging cycles, and hurried service.
- Battery systems, motor controllers, industrial buses, safety IO, or edge compute.
- CAN, Ethernet, serial, GNSS, IMUs, encoders, and environmental sensors.
- PCB design, harness release, embedded Linux, RTOS, or bare-metal firmware.
- Mobile robotics, automotive, industrial controls, or rugged outdoor electronics.
