Know the terms before you accept the work.

Recruitment is free

You must not pay The Strawberry Company, a recruiter, an agent, or anyone acting on our behalf for access to a job, an H-2A opportunity, recruitment, or employer visa costs. Report anyone asking for money.

Written job terms

Before covered work begins, workers receive the required job terms in a language they understand, including work location, dates, duties, pay, hours, benefits, and disclosed deductions.

Pay and records

Workers receive the applicable disclosed wage and an itemized statement showing hours or piece units, earnings, and deductions. Required payroll records are maintained according to law.

Tools, safety, and transportation

Required tools, supplies, protective equipment, and workers’ compensation are provided as required. Housing and transportation obligations depend on the official job order and applicable program.

No retaliation

Workers may ask questions, report a concern, or exercise their legal rights without retaliation.
